This was inspired by Fr. Mark Goring's "Sudden attack" video.
The panther represents a sudden temptation, that was relatively unexpected. The three men deal with this sudden temptation in different ways- though only one of them comes out victorious, as you know if you watched the video. The first man is a sluggard. He puts down his weapon's just because he doesn't want to bother carrying them. He doesn't pay attention, and doesn't care much if he is "attacked"- in fact, the thought probably hasn't even crossed his mind. Then he is attacked. And he hardly realizes what is happening until it's too late.
The second man has been called in the title a "coward", but he is more of a worrier than a coward. He is always worrying about attacks, fearing, and not trusting God. Every little noise is a possible attack, but he overreacts to each of them. When he does come across a sudden attack, he panics, and in that time is taken down.
And the last man (Jeff is his name) is alert, but not afraid. He is calm and vigilant. When he comes across the beast, he stays calm, doesn't panic like the "Coward" did. He immediately looks to Christ, and is able to defeat the beast by the power of God.
Santa Claus is coming to town folks. If only we had Heretic-punching bishops nowadays.
The priest Fr. James Altman has gone a bit viral these last few months on the internet. If you have not heard him or seen his homily's, then go look him up on Youtube. He is heroically speaking TRUTH which many priests are afraid to do nowadays.
Unfortunately he has begun to be silenced. Many people of course, don't like to hear truth being spoken so clearly because of the simple fact that truth is sometimes hard. One of these people who wants Father Altman silenced is none other than the heretical Jesuit "Father" James Martin. Fr. Martin encouraged his followers to write and complain to the diocese in which Fr. Altman serves in. The Bishop of that diocese- Bishop William Callahan, it seems has buckled to the pressure being put on him and his diocese, and have told Fr. Altman not to record any more of his homilys. We need to pray for both Fr. Altman, and Bishop Callahan, as well as write to Bishop Callahan and tell him that the faithful will not stand for the silencing of Fr. Altman -respectfully of course. There is also a petition to Bishop Callahan started by LifeSite news. Go here to sign it: https://lifepetitions.com/petition/stand-with-priest-who-faces-church-penalties

The Boxer rebellion was an anti-imperialist, anti-foreign, and anti-christian uprising in China, between 1899 and 1901 that sought to expel all western influence from the country including Catholicism. There is a bit of history we could go into there but that isn't necessary.
One parish priest told the following story of what happened when his church was attacked. The priest was locked in the rectory and the Church was ransacked. At one point they threw the tabernacle spilling the consecrated hosts (the literal body Christ) onto the ground. The priest couldn't do anything but pray while Jesus's body was on the ground.
Later that night he was still praying when he heard a noise. He then saw a little girl come over to the hosts. She had hidden while the communists ransacked the church and she had seen the whole thing happen. She knelt down before the hosts and spent some time in silent adoration. And then she bowed over, and took one of the hosts on her tongue and consumed it. (this was back when everyone always received on the tongue.) There were around 30 hosts I believe, and every night she would come back and consume one more (She had been taught to only receive the Eucharist once a day). 30 or so consecutive nights of doing this passed, and at last there was only one host left. The priest was praying hard as the girl came in. After this all of the hosts would be gone, and she could stop sneaking in and risking her life. The girl bowed down and took the body of Christ on her tongue for the last time. Then she made the sign of the cross, and turned to leave. She knocked something over or made some sort of noise. The Chinese soldiers ran in and saw what she had been doing.
And using the ends of their rifles they beat her to death.
This is how real the faith was to the Chinese Christians. So strong that an 8 year old girl died so that Jesus wouldn't be on the ground.
When I was first naming this channel it was going to be called something like "Ablaze Studios" but that sounded too generic. So, I tried it in several different languages such as Latin, but I didn't like how those sounded.. Being a Tolkien geek I decided to try and translate it into Sindarin, or Quenya (languages invented by J.R.R Tolkien). Since I'm not much of an expert on the language, I consulted my brother (in Christ) J.P. and he actually did most of the translating. Translated to English 'Nardolen' means "Hidden Fire"-the Middle Earth name for the Holy Spirit. "Nar" translates to "fire" and "dolen" translates (obviously) to "hidden". I hope that the Holy Spirit guides the work I put on here and helps set people on fire with their faith.
So there you go.
